Catch Them While You Can: Fall Seasonal Flowers 🌹

Written by La Rose Flowers London

One of our favourite things about fall? The flowers that come with it.

Some begin their season in summer and stay with us into autumn. Others make their entrance as the days grow shorter. Their colours, shapes, and textures give fall arrangements a character all their own.

Here are a few seasonal favourites worth enjoying while they’re here.

Dahlias

With layers of petals and colours ranging from soft peach to deep burgundy, dahlias are hard to walk past. Their local growing season lasts until frost, making each late-season stem feel a little more special.

Chrysanthemums

There’s more to mums than the pots on your front porch. From small button shapes to large, striking flowers, chrysanthemums bring beautiful variety to bouquets. Cream, dusty pink, bronze, and burgundy are lovely choices for an autumn table.

Asters

These small, daisy-like flowers bring a light, relaxed feel to an arrangement. Shades of purple, pink, and white add a delicate touch among larger flowers and autumn greenery.

Sedum

An understated fall favourite, sedum has clusters of tiny flowers that add texture to a bouquet. Its pink and rosy tones pair beautifully with dahlias and chrysanthemums.

A Little Seasonality Makes It Special

Seasonal flowers give us something to look forward to. The selection changes with the weather and the growers’ harvests, so each week can bring something different.

For a Thanksgiving table, a thoughtful gift, or simply a vase at home, ask us what’s in season. You might discover a new favourite.
