The boho wedding era gave us many things.

Pampas grass was one of them.

A little pampas? Gorgeous.

Pampas in the bouquet, on every table, around the ceremony, in the welcome sign and somehow attached to the cake?

We think she’s had enough screen time. 😂

The oversized boho look has been cooling off, with couples moving toward more intentional floral designs and interesting textures instead. 

The 2026/2027 version:

Keep the texture. Lose the “boho wedding starter pack.”

You know the one.

Every flower is the same height.

Everything is perfectly symmetrical.

It looks like someone put the bouquet through a floral geometry class.

She’s beautiful.

But we’re ready for something with a little more personality.

We’re seeing more asymmetrical, elongated and free-form bouquets with movement, interesting shapes and flowers that actually have room to breathe. 

The new rule:

Your bouquet doesn’t have to be perfect.

It just has to feel like you.

We need to be careful here because…

we still love baby’s breath.

But there is a difference between using it beautifully and making your entire wedding look like a cloud factory.

The giant baby’s-breath-only arrangements that were everywhere during the boho era are losing momentum. Sparse, intentional use can still feel incredibly modern. 

Baby’s breath isn’t cancelled.

She’s just no longer required to do all the work.

Table?

Eucalyptus.

Arch?

Eucalyptus.

Welcome sign?

Eucalyptus.

Someone’s probably putting eucalyptus on the bathroom door as we speak.

The heavy greenery runner that was once the definition of a “romantic garden wedding” is being replaced by cleaner, more sculptural arrangements with more intentional negative space. 

Greenery can still be beautiful.

We’re just letting the flowers have a little more main-character energy.
